Whether you are gracefully diving into the technology pool in your classroom or you've been traumatically pushed into the enormous digital sea, we could all use a little hand-holding, a good pep talk, or maybe even a life preserver thrown our way. As a digital immigrant, teaching technology natives can seem incredibly daunting. The last thing any teacher wants is to feel like the dumbest one in the room. We all want to succeed in our quest to integrate. But, honestly, it can be hard to muster up the courage to even test the technology waters. Come share in my journey of learning to swim in these often shark infested waters. Armed with nothing but desire, I jumped feet first, and guess what? I'm still afloat. Come see what my classroom is like and see the difference technology has made in my teaching. I have gone from no devices to 1:1. I have Flipped my instruction. I have tried numerous gizmos and gadgets, apps and attitudes. There are things I like and things I don't and so many things I still want to try.
