WeVideo is a cloud-based cross-platform video editor that can be easily learned by students with very limited experience of video editing. The basic account-level can be created for free and allows 15 free minutes per month of video sharing. Students can create digital stories using a wide variety of media such as photos, videos, audio, text, transitions, graphics and more. WeVideo could be accessed from both Mac and PC computers and is also available as an app for both Android and Apple products. The recommended browser for WeVideo is Firefox. The attendees at the session will also learn about how to download video files from the web (e.g. from Youtube) and edit photos for the digital story projects.
