Session Evaluation
In this 2-hour workshop, Christine Ferrin will introduce participants to several tricks of the trade in ActivInspire to make your Promethean ActivBoard more interactive and student-oriented. We will use object hiding, actions, layering, Class Flow, and more in creating interactive flipcharts for your classroom. In addition to creating your own flipchart pages, participants will leave with sample pages and instructions. You will get the most out of the workshop if you bring some content or lesson plan material. Bring your laptop with the latest version of ActivInspire installed. This workshop is best for teachers who are already familiar with ActivInspire and want to learn more. my.uen.org/64444

When Christine participated in Alpine District's eMINTS program a few years ago, her favorite tools to learn were the Promethean ActivBoard and ActivInspire software. She works to create and share interactive lessons that are both simple for teachers to create, and improve student engagement. Christine has presented at UCET previously on this topic, and has conducted many school-wide trainings as well.
