UCET 2015

Procedure for Obtaining, University Credit, USOE Credit, or Licensure Points

NOTE: There will be online only options for all of these choices.

Please choose only one of the following:

University Credit (SUU EDUC 5455-303) One (1) Credit Hour
One hour of university credit will be available from SUU – Southern Utah University for $21 (a check payable to SUU is required).  To receive SUU credit (EDUC 5455-303) you must do the following:

• Day 1 and 2
  • Register for USOE Credit by completing the UCET 2014 Course Registration in OnTrack
    • http://usoe.truenorthlogic.com
    • Course: 48302; Section: 72996
  • Attend the keynote(s).
  • Attend all eight sessions. A one hour visit to the vendor hall counts as one session. Vendor visits may only be used one time.
  • Fill out the SUU/USOE Learning Artifact – UCET Conference form for each session
• April 17, 2015
  • Submit your notes from the SUU/USOE Learning Artifact – UCET Conference at http://goo.gl/dX3QNi 
• April 24, 2015
  • Complete the SUU Credit forms found online or at the registration booth.
  • Complete a personal check or money order payable to SUU for $21
  • Paperclip or staple the SUU Credit Form and payment together.
  • Mail the form and payment to: Rick Gaisford, Utah State Office of Education, 250 East 500 South, P.O. Box 144200, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-4200

You will not receive notice that you have received SUU credit.  You are responsible for requesting a copy of your SUU transcript with the credit recorded.  You may contact the SUU registrar at 435-586-7715 to request a copy of your transcript.  Please be aware that credit will not be posted until after the end of next semester. 

USOE Inservice Credit One (1) Credit Hour
One hour of lane change credit is available from USOE.  To receive a USOE credit you must do the following:

• Day 1 and 2
  • Register for USOE Credit by completing the UCET 2014 Course Registration in OnTrack

    • Course: 48302; Section: 72996
  • Attend the keynote(s).

  • Fill out the SUU/USOE Learning Artifact – UCET Conference form for each session

You will not receive notice that you have received a USOE credit.  Credit will be available through the OnTrack system in your Cactus report. 

Licensure Points
For those NOT interested in SUU or USOE credit, you may receive licensure points at the end of the conference for the hours attended.  The “Licensure Points” Certificate will be emailed to you by request. The deadline is April 17, 2015, via http://goo.gl/dX3QNi You may receive up to 14 points maximum (7 points each day) for attending the UCET Conference.
