UCET 2015

2nd-5th graders will demonstrate how coding has opened up more learning opportunities. Come watch theses students program Lego EV3 robots to complete challenges that they designed. Students will also showcase their Video Games that they created using Agent Sheets. Please stop by and allow yourself to play a fun game created by kids! These students have completed a code.org computer science course and enjoy programming in different environments. Let them show you that no matter how young you are, you are capable of programming!

Students take the lead with technology at Ecker Hill Middle School. Learn how GenYES and our student technology leadership class have transformed technological support for our community (faculty, parents and students) through collaborative planning of lessons with teachers, evaluating technology resources, providing training opportunities as well as mentoring students one to one in computer use and much, much more! www.genyes.org

Students will demonstrate projects they have created throughout the year, along with discussing their funnest experiences and learning methods. They will also be discussing different strategies and techniques for introducing iPads in the classroom and what can be done to limit the stress and confusion of having to learn a "new" way of learning.
