Kirsten Butcher is an Associate Professor of Instructional Design and Educational Technology at the University of Utah. She teaches technology integration courses for pre-service teachers, as well as graduate courses on advanced instructional design and human computer interaction for the Instructional Design and Educational Technology master's program. Her research focuses on how visual information and visual interactions in multimedia and educational technology support deep learning and knowledge transfer.
